Trips

So life is what you make it?  With the economy the way it is, "Staycations" are becoming more popular.  What are your favorite places for your staycation? The best thing is to become a member of websites such as Groupon, Living Social and other discount priced websites. What websites do you use?

With this Spring Break, I took Ava to the local parks, movies and did gardening.  She seemed to like it. We did more bonding things, like working on her alphabet and other pre-school items, since we no longer have her in her school.

I am looking forward to the Summer coming up quickly.  Lots going on!

Upcoming Trips:

May-Michigan to see family and take care of Grammy. Yay! A whole week.  That never happens.

June-Chicago, IL for Rascal Flatts!  This is also Steve and I's foodie trip.  Steve wants an Italian Beef Sandwich so bad.  Never even heard of those until we saw a place on Food Network.

Any trips you're looking forward to?

I was in Chicago in March...twas cold...a great city however! You MUST visit the following: Navy Pier (take the boat ride from there...you get a spectacular view from the boat of the city coastline; go to the top of the Hancock building...breath-taking views...; eat at Cheesecake Factory at the base of the Hancock Building; see "the Bean"-very cool! Go to Rosebuds Italian Restaurant in downtown Chicago...the best Italian food!!! And last of all but not least...go to Rush Street...the best clubs (and the easiest to get into)...on Rush, go to the piano bar Jilly's..small place but fun! And the "Backdoor" has great blues and jazz bands...enjoy!!! Oh yeah, Frank and I get to go to Cancun with our cousin for a week early in May...and come home to await baby Frankie!!!! byee!1
